When you look at all the new places to eat in Elizabethtown you wonder Which is the best place to eat?

You have a new Steak house coming soon and with the Cheddars opening the choices have gotten even greater.

Elizabethtown has so many great places to bring your family to enjoy yourselves.

I for one enjoy eating at Chedders you get a lot of food for a really great price. Useally have enough to take home a doggy bag. And O'Charlies is another.

So let me know  where you like to go and why? I look forward to seeing where others  find the place to be.

Ok now is the time for you to get involved. we need your imput on the web site.  What are your likes or dislikes.

We need your feed back. Your opinion counts.

What If you could go back in time? Would you?  If you could change things would you? What date would you go back to?

These are the questions that come up  sometimes within a conversation. I don't know if I would want to go back in time. But I think If I could go back to the time before I was even thought of. I think I would go back to the good old wild west days. Life was so much simpler then than today. Oh I'm sure they had their own set of problems.

Just look at the difference from them till now. They had horse and buggy to get around. we have the Mustang GT with horse power. They had to dig a well and fetch their water. All we have to do today is get up off the comfy couch and turn the faucet knob. There is so much that has changed from then to now.

So my answer to thees questions.I would go back in time. I would change some things. So tell me what you think Tell me if you would go back in a time machine.

I spend money on allot of things that are not really needed.

For example I spend money almost daily on eating out at some fast food place. making them richer and me poorer. Yes a person need to eat to survive. I just think its faster for me to just pick something up.

I spend allot of money on my pets. They now each have their own dog beds. They all have new  collers and I spend at least $20.00 a month on a plug-in  with a  pheromone to calm them. Lets not forget all their treats that I feel they need daily.

Now lets look at shampoo and conditioner. Tell me why I think I need to have 3 to 4 different brands at one time. I only use one at a time. If I am in the store and I see something new I think to myself.. Hmm that smells nice I think I will get it. I am sure I have enough to last a while.

Moving on to the next the big thing for women Shoes.. I must have at lest 20 or more pairs of flip flops. One for every color of the rainbow.  Not to mention the other pairs I have . From boots to mules. At least another 20 plus pairs. And look at more shoes almost on a daily basis.

Now lets get to the big one. Clothes. I have bought clothes that I still haven't worn. But I say it's ok because I got it on sale. I have clothes that hangs in my closet that I haven't worn in months and I keep buying more.

Before long I will have to buy a bigger home with bigger closets to support my buying habit.

So come on Share with me what you spend your money on. Or just let me have it for what I spend my money on.

With the Holiday Season rolling around your little one  has asked for a Puppy or Kitty for Christmas. Just think of a few things before you do this.

Do you live in an Apartment or a house? How often are you going to be home.

You may want to consider getting a puppy from the animal shelter. There are animals that need a good home .

Also if you wait till after the Christmas holiday there tends to be  pure bread Puppy or Kittens that end up in the shelter. Some people find that they can't care for the animal and drop it off at the local animal shelter. So please check with your local animal shelter if your thinking of getting a new addition to your family.

What is your favorite dish for the holidays?

I for one think there is nothing better than bananna pudding. I also like homemade cranberry sauce, with a splash of orange

Please share your thoughts on what you like the best  at your holiday meal.

Ok lets get this off our chests who is the better gift  wrapper?  The man or the woman?

The sign a man wrapped your gift.

. The wrapping paper is wrinkled or the edeges are folded crooked ,  the bow doesnt really go with the color of paper being used. The box is taped with duck  tape. Or better yet they just leave it in a department store bag and ball the bag around it and there its all done.

The sign a woman wrapped your gift.

The wrapping paper is flat and folded in a straight line. You don't see any tape because she was smart and used double sided tape. The bow matches the wrapping paper perfectly.  And if she doesn't have the time to wrap that special gift she finds the right gift bag uses tissue paper .

So when you receive that gift think of this one thought If ythe gift is wrapped so well you hate to open it. Well She probly wrapped it.

Have a safe and Happy Holiday.

If you were thinking of moving to a small town I would consider Vine Grove.

At what age do you think a child should be told there is no Santa?  I for one don't think that you should tell them they really start questioning the Idea of a Santa. You tell then to early and it takes something way from that childhood innocents. They grow up so fast . And what does it really hurt. Let them be a child for as long as they can.
